ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Jessica Jade suffered from itchy and painful eczema ten years ago. Her dermatologist prescribed steroid creams that made her skin so sensitive to the sun that she wore turtlenecks an entire summer in New York City. Jessica soon fell into a deep depression, stopped dating, and withdrew from the world.
One evening, while speaking with her great-grandmother, Mama Teresa, she shared her struggles. Mama Teresa recommended natural ingredients such as shea butter, avocado oil, honey, and turmeric that are anti-inflammatory and lock in moisture.
Formulating skincare products became their favorite hobby! With Mama Teresa's guidance, she collaborated with chemists from Black and women-owned labs, creating skincare kits that not only healed her eczema but also empowered others to heal their skin.

INGREDIENTS WE LOVE
Organic Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory properties which help to tame chaffing and chapping, reduce redness caused by drying, ease the effects of eczema and rosacea, and keep skin calm and comfortable. The Vitamin E and B-complex vitamins in the Jojoba oil help in skin repair and damage control.
Organic Rose Water is perfect for toning the face, neck, eye area, dry skin, body, and hair. Also used for balancing pH, acne-prone skin, hand spots, dark marks, combination oily skin, and overall to balance skin as a botanical astringent and toner.
Organic Shea Butter is full of vitamin A and is extremely moisturizing. Shea butter replenishes thirsty skin, soothes insect bites, sunburn, and frostbite. It improves an array of skin ailments such as wrinkles, skin blemishes, dermatitis, and eczema.
Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil is ideal for dry skin and aging skin as it regenerates and firms. It reduces hyperpigmentation, scars and helps skin regain its natural color and tone.
